On this casual evening tour, you will drink your way from one purveyor to another while exploring the history of the historic Brooklyn waterfront. If your preference is for the Gin, theirs is infused with watermelon and cucumber, making for the best gin and tonic ever!
These folks are dedicated to crafting innovation, and locally sourced beer. They work with New York State hop farmers and maltsters. They are barrel aging the beer to perfection in the Barrel Room, and this is where you will be tasting a selection of their beers.
Here we will also be tasting The Giuseppe sausage and mozzarella vegan sandwich from Renegades of Sunset.
Brooklyn Kura is committed to a new tradition of American craft sake. Their Brewery and Tap Room is the perfect venue to taste and learn about sake making, and the traditions that surround it.
We are also going to accompany this tasting with an Onigiri from Japan Village.
Standard Wormwood Distillery and Cocktail Bar
The wormwood plant is an elusive ingredient that is at heart of this distillery’s spirits. Only making small batches in hand-made distilling techniques makes for a completely crafted method that they use to this day. There is a lot to choose from, to narrow it down you will have a choice of one of their hand made cocktails.
A recent addition to Industry City, Carreau Club is primarily a walk-in petanque club that makes some great cocktails. Let’s have a drink and find out how to play petanque! Its even better than Bocce Ball!
Barrow’s Intense is the highest rated ginger liqueur and was selected as the best ginger liqueur by Drink Hackers. This tasty tincture is distilled here in Brooklyn, using a cold-press process with over 200 pounds of fresh ginger per batch. It is tryly fabulous,, and makes for a Moscow Mule! It will leave you wanting more.
